Galvanized steel coil: 

1.Brief Introduction:

Hot dip Galvanizing is a protection method for steel workpieces against atmospheric corrosion and widely used in metal structure facilities. Galvanized steel coils are made of full hard steel coils through UEC hot dip galvanizing process. After pretreatment and annealing treatment, the dedusted steel material are submerged into melted zinc solution which is about 50degree  hot to attach zinc coating on the steel material as corrosion protectionThen after finishing and pullingstraightening treatment, the galvanized steel coils or sheets are finally completed.

2.Production Process:

Caustic Washing—Electrolytic Cleaning—Washing—Drying —Annealing—Rack Plating—Cooling—Finishing—Straightening—Chromating—Washing —Polishing—Rolling Up

3.Characteristics:

a) Low-cost: Zinc coating is cheaper than other coatings.

 

b) Lasting and durable: The zinc coating is attached by chemical reaction to  become the surface of the steel sheet, therefore, the coating lasts for a long time. Generally, standard zinc coating(Z60 to Z80) can last for 50 years without any repair,

 while in coastal areas lasting 20 years.

 

c) Strong toughness: The zinc coating owns special metallurgical structure which bears mechanial damages in delivery and application.

 

d) Overall protection: The steel materials are totally submerged into the alloy and galvanized in every place; even the depressions,concaves, and sharp corners of the steel materials could be galvanized and protected.

 

e) Convenient:Galvanizing is easier and more convenient than other coating application. Besides, applied in construction, there’s no need to paint once the galvanized steel coils&sheets are installed in construction sites

 

4.Appliance:

With excellent cold bending molded manufacturablity, good decoration effect, strong 

antcorrosion ability, galvanized steel coils and sheets are also pollutionfree and easily recycled. Accordingly, they can be used as final products and basic plates of color coated steel coils and widely applied in construction, home appliances, decoration, etc.
